1. General Disclaimer (Important)

apsscore.com is an independent, private informational platform.

  • We are NOT a government entity. We are not affiliated with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), the Central Application Clearing House (CACH), or the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
  • We are NOT a university. We do not process applications, grant admissions, or issue bursaries.
  • Official Verification: While we strive to ensure all information (including APS requirements, closing dates, and fees) is accurate, university policies change frequently. Users must always verify information directly with the official institution before making any financial or academic decisions.

3. Use of the APS Calculator

Our APS Score Calculator is a tool designed to provide an estimate of your Admission Point Score.

  • Different universities calculate APS differently (e.g., some exclude Life Orientation, others weight Mathematics higher).
  • The score provided by our tool is a guide only. You are responsible for manually checking the specific calculation method of the university you are applying to.
